In short, every jewel offered on is made out of Silver 925º or Gold (14K, 18K).
We avoid using any other type of material in our CreTations such as Copper or Stainless Steel.
In certain cases that we do use materials other than Silver or Gold we state it explicitly in the product page of the particular cretation.
There are hundreds of gems but the one which really makes your eyes light up, it’s the one that fits your own style and personality.
Although laboratories can also create crystals artificially, we prefer authentic gemstones. Most of them are minerals, but some, notably pearl and amber, are organics. Living organisms create these materials.
For us, beauty, durability and wearability is usually a high priority. Nevertheless, two of the most popular gems are particularly delicate. For instance, pearls generally last about a century as jewelry stones due to their softness. The simple act of wiping off dust will slowly wear away their coating. Perfumes and hairsprays can also stain and damage pearls.
Currently, many people love using whole crystals in jewelry. However, cutting and polishing can be also exceptionally beautiful. People have cut and polished more than 3,000 minerals. Of these, only about a hundred can be worn in jewelry. The rest are simply too delicate to wear well. Although we use cut gems to embellish our jewels, rough or raw crystal forms are also incredibly stanning!
To make sure there are no surprises, we explicitly state the Gems & Stones used in the product page of a particular CreTation.
It doesn’t matter how high-end your jewelry is, many people can have a sensitivity to it. Even jewelry made of sterling silver or gold can produce some discoloration for some people. Advice for preventing your skin from turning green isn’t as simple as avoiding less costly jewelry. Keep in mind that cheap metals are more likely to create an allergic reaction. However, If you have sensitive skin, you may have better luck with our jewels free of any weird material!
Despite our promised quality, keep in mind that:
- A ziplock bag, dry, away from skincare, is always preferable
- It’s nice to rotate your stuff
- Gold jewellery is better to be separately from the silver ones
- A soft wipe is always needed
Shipping & Delivery
Check your inbox for a shipping confirmation email, which includes a link to track your CreTations package. Still can’t find it? Just pop in your email address and order number here, and we’ll give you all the details on where your package is and when it’s expected to arrive. You can also check your order status by logging into your CreTations.com account.
If none of those options work, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’ll need your ship-to name, the email address you used to place the order and your order number. Once we have that info, we’ll get back to you ASAP with more details on your package status.
If your tracking information hasn’t been updated for 2-3 days, don’t worry — that’s totally normal! Occasionally there will be delays in shipping, so you might not see an update on your tracking for a few more days. If your package hasn’t moved in 7 days, contact us and we can help locate your package!
Still haven’t received your order even though your order status says “Delivered”? Try checking with your neighbors first to make sure the package didn’t get delivered to their house instead. Sometimes, mail carriers leave packages at nearby doors by mistake (oops!).
Occasionally carriers will mark packages as “Delivered” before they’ve actually left the package at your address. Typically they show up within 24-48 hours after being marked as “Delivered”, so hang tight for a day or two!
If you don’t have any luck there and you still haven’t received your package after 48 hours of it being marked as “Delivered”, we’ll be happy to help resolve the issue. Just contact us and send us your name, shipping address, the email used to place your order and your order number. We’ll get back to you ASAP with more details on your package status.
We know you want your new CreTation jewelry ASAP, so we typically ship orders within 3-5 business days after the order is placed. Standard shipping time is 4-6 business days, and this does not include the warehouse processing times.
All CreTations packages are shipped from Creta, Greece and delivery times will vary based on your proximity to Greece. We offer express delivery in case you are interested with an extra cost.
Product exchanges can be accepted within 14 days from the day of the delivery of your order.
The product must be unused and in its initial condition.
The transportation cost is charged on the customer if the product is not faulty.
The color difference between the product and its photograph is not considered a fault as it may be due to lighting conditions during the photoshoot or your screen’s brightness.
The consumer is responsible for any reduction in the value of the product only if he himself used it badly. For example, if he disassembled the product to see how it is inside.
We offer lifetime guarantee. Any repair is free of charge. We accept returns for a refund within 14 days of your purchase date. The costs for returning an item are the responsibility of the purchaser.
We recommend using a courier with tracking services to ensure the shipment of your return. Items must be unworn and in original packaging for a full refund.
Only the purchase price of the returned item will be refunded. Any duty or taxes that have been paid, as well as the original shipping charges, will not be refunded.
The refund of the purchase price shall be processed in the same way as the original payment was made.

For anything related to orders you have placed, whether the product has arrived at your door or is still in the processing stage, make sure to include the Order ID and the contact information of the person who made the order, except if the person making contact is the one who placed the order initially.
For anything related to technical issues and difficulties, for instance not being able to place an order or conduct payments, please make sure to include any information you might find relevant.
For example, if you experienced issues with a certain product, adding to cart or mis-configuration, make sure to include the product name or identifier (SKU) as is in the original product page.
While we try our best to issue refunds straight away, sometimes the time between our customer support team and payment systems is quite cumbersome.
If the refund is associated with a product return, please know that we are not issuing refunds if the products has not arrived to our location.
Additionally, to ensure the refund process is smooth, make sure to include the Order ID when making contact.
